Sports NutritionNutrition is important for anyone practicing sport from amateur to professional level – enhancing performance and helping to provide the right fuel for stamina and endurance during exercise and assisting the body in healing and recovery post exercise. Food can be categorized as either fuel – primarily carbohydrates, or building materials – primarily proteins, vitamins and minerals, and essential fats.
